My name is Coco Liu, and I am currently a 10th-grade student at BWYA. This is my third year participating in MUN, and it is my absolute honor to serve as the president of the Human Rights Council in this year’s CANMUN. In the upcoming conference, I, alongside Emma and Alice, will be focusing on the topic of “Enforcing the Right to Privacy against Misuse of Artificial Intelligence with Particular Focus on Deepfakes and Generative Technologies”. I can’t wait to see y’all in June!
Whether you’re an absolute MUN pro or this is your first time raising your placard, your voice counts in this committee. Hello everyone! I’m Emma Kim, a freshman attending the International School of Beijing, and I am honored to serve as the deputy president of the Human Rights Council for this year’s CANMUN conference.
We will be focusing on the topic “Enforcing the Right to Privacy against Misuse of Artificial Intelligence with Particular Focus on Deepfakes and Generative Technologies.” I hope this committee can bring meaningful debate on this pressing issue.
Over the past few years in MUN, I’ve met incredible people who inspired me to become a more confident person. It is my hope that you have the same experience through this conference and make memories that will stay throughout your MUN journey. I look forward to seeing you make speeches, amendments, and POIs.

Hello delegates! My name is Alice Baek, currently a freshman at the International School of Beijing, and it is my honor to serve as the President of the Human Rights Council for this year's CANMUN conference. Throughout my two-year MUN journey, I have gone from being one of the nervous delegates to a student officer who can lead the debate with confidence.The Human Rights Council will focus on "Enforcing the Right to Privacy against Misuse of Artificial Intelligence with Particular Focus on Deepfakes and Generative Technologies," a rising global issue that affects human rights. Please don't hesitate to make speeches, POIs, and amendments. I hope to create a space where all delegates feel comfortable and confident to challenge themselves. See you all in June!
