President
I'm Jerry Cui, currently a student at Beijing City International School (BCIS), and I'm honored to serve as the President of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) this year. I began my MUN journey in 2023, and CANMUN this year marks my sixth conference and second time chairing.
Again, I'm privileged to be able to participate in CANMUN as a student officer and look forward to facilitating engaging, fruitful, and respectful debates. I strongly encourage all delegates to actively participate, share their perspectives, and collaborate towards meaningful resolutions to the topic of debate. Hope to see you soon.

My name is Helen Xu, a freshman at Beijing City International School (BCIS), and I am honored to serve as one of the assistant presidents for the Economic and Social Council at CANMUN III. Over the course of this year’s conference, I hope that all delegates, new and seasoned alike, will fully engage and actively challenge themselves. I am happy to provide my support to the delegates to the best of my ability and wish everyone a fruitful experience. I look forward to meeting everyone and hope to see you all there!
RUCHA KULKARNI

I'm Rucha Kulkarni, a student at CISB and I'll be serving as a vice president for ECOSOC. It's my pleasure to be part of CANMUN III both as a chair and a website designer. MUN always looked scary until I first started my journey as a delegate in BEIMUN. I remember getting bombarded with POIs and feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of debates but with the experience I learned that MUN isn't just about debating, rather it's about understanding issues and different perspectives. I hope to bring this understanding to all delegates . Lastly (don't be shy) ask POIs, make speeches even if you think you're wrong. Sometimes the best learning happens when you're confidently wrong!
