President
My name is Alisa Krylova and I am a Junior at the Beijing City International School. CANMUN V marks my 4th time chairing and 10th conference overall, as well as my third time in this committee. I am honored to serve as your President Chair of the Security Council.
This conference is an amazing way to grow your in skills in diplomacy and global awareness. But at its core, I believe that MUN is a way to make meaningful connections with people. I myself made some of my closest friends here, including your deputy president. Ergo, I encourage all of you to prepare diligently, engage in discourse, and most importantly to have fun!

Hi! I’m Vickey Qi, a current junior from Beijing City International School. I feel very honored to serve as the Deputy President of SC CANMUN V. I’ve been participating in MUN for 4 years now, been to 9 conferences as a delegate, worked on 2 conferences as a secretariat of BCISMUN, and this is my first time chairing. To me, attending every conference means not only growing relevant skills but also building friendships and creating memories you will most certainly cherish in the coming years. Fun fact, I met Alisa (your President) at a conference two years ago, never knew back then that she’ll now be one of the most responsible, enthusiastic co-MUNer at BCIS two years later. I hope you all love the MUN culture as much as I do and remember to try your best but also have fun:D
